I’m Amanda Harshaw, a certified personal trainer with a passion for fitness and a mission to help others achieve their health goals. I’ve been weight lifting consistently since 2018 and officially launched The Strong Mom in 2024, turning my passion into a career dedicated to helping people transform their lives through fitness.
I hold a BS in Air Traffic Management with minors in Homeland Security and Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. After becoming a mother, I decided to shift directions and pursue a career in my longtime passion of health and fitness. I earned my certification in personal training from the International Sports Sciences Association in 2024.
As a mom with two toddlers, I know firsthand the challenges of juggling family life and work outside the home. Throughout my life, I've struggled with depression, and emotional eating has been one of my long-time coping mechanisms—I understand the late-night food cravings and the guilt that follows occasional bingeing. I'm here to tell you that you're not alone. I can help you overcome these hurdles.
